First Thursday Jazz at the Allen Theatre is the longest running jazz series in Central Pa.

For over 25 years Central Pa based pianist Andy Roberts has been bringing in some of the top jazz players from the area as well as Philadelphia and New York.

It is a very diverse series. From traditional New Orleans style to bebop, fusion and original music, each month is different from the next. They now hold the series in the Allen's beautiful theater.

Shows are held the First Thursday of each month Starting October through June.

Patrons are welcome to bring their own beer and wine. There is a sandwich and dessert menu as well. The music begins at 8pm. $7.00 cover ($5.00 for college students) www.allentheatre.com
